About Me ☉

Hello! My name is Lew (they/them), multi-media artist, fantasy soundtrack composer, and astrologer based in Glasgow, Scotland.

I am perhaps best known for my tabletop roleplaying music, and providing orchestral soundtracks for games such as Dungeons & Dragons. Exploring the relationship between music, narrative immersion, and identity has always been at the heart of my creative practice. I recently released my seventh studio album, and continue to be inspired by my love of the fantasy genre.

While my background is primarily in music, over the last 5 years I have made conscious efforts to develop my spiritual practice through more personal art projects (see Lew-C) and Jungian psychology.

What emerged from this period of self-work were some dramatic changes in perspective, and the learning of an unconventional set of skills — including dream interpretation and the practice of astrology. Both of which I have used to inform my own personal development, and have since used successfully with clients for nearly a year.

Becoming more proficient in this practice and wanting to make these insights accessible to a wider audience was the primary motivation for creating this website, as I continue to find this work incredibly rewarding.

The other notable developments from this time has been my involvement in a series of more political and social activism-focused artistic opportunities with visual artist Emily Brooks Millar. Working with organisations such as De.Rad (Deradicalisation of Extremism Across Europe & Beyond) and Sonica International Arts Festival (in 2021, and again later this year in 2024), our collaborations have been displayed at galleries in Paris, Belgrade, and Edinburgh - as a nominee for the John Byrne Awards (2023).

I am of course proud of all of these eclectic achievements, but I am far more excited for the one’s still to come - and what will be possible as I open up for working with others! Thank you for taking the time to stop by.
