Aries 2025 Horoscope

Mar 20

  • Sun ♓︎ enters Aries ♈︎

Winter is over, the time has come for all of the potential energy in the Piscean dream to take form. The beginning of the Zodiac, Aries, is a place for trial, error, and the willingness to earnestly try again. Aries is the coming of Spring, it knows how to be present better than any other sign because it knows being in this moment makes life feel worth living. Aries thrives in the raw, intimate, and adrenaline fuelled experience of right now — simultaneously as terrifying as it is thrilling.

The next 30 days show an acceleration of life’s pace, a focus on honesty with our impulses, and a continued curiosity about how to advocate for the fullness of our own desires in relationships. As so many of the Planets teeter back and forth over the edge of Pisces into Aries, we find ourselves at a jumping off point into a time that will demand decisions and action.

Mar 21

  • Venus Rx ♈︎ Sextile Pluto ♒︎

With Venus still in retrograde, an intensity from our deepest parts — what is compulsive and unconscious — exerts pressure on your relationships. Pluto accelerates Venus Rx’s reflections on what is fair to ask for in meeting your own needs, however it is likely to come as a bit of an ultimatum or with ‘do or die’ mentality, as Pluto is prone to operate in such extremes.

Pluto gives you the power to confront the most awful things in life, but demands complete submission to whatever feelings have been repressed.

Mar 23

  • Sun ♈︎ Sextile Pluto ♒︎

This feeling of operating in extremes is activated again, here with an additional focus on how you are seen, your self-awareness, and your general energy. Your outward expressions are made powerful by Pluto, if perhaps a little compulsive and experienced like an eruption of force from within.

The motivations in your deeper psyche will be channeled through your brightest and most visible parts, and may bring you into greater awareness of what Pluto is holding onto so tightly — and what an immense resource this can be.

  • Sun ♈︎ Conjunct Venus Rx ♈︎

A heightened consciousness and illumination of the themes of the retrograde period:  reevaluations of our relationships with gender, beauty, and social media, as well as our spending habits, our love lives, close friendships, and our relationship with art and creativity.

How are your needs being met? Are you asking for what you want, what you really really want? Or do you find yourself complying and compromising around the needs of others? What is truly fair?

The Sun brings an awareness and the ability to see one’s self in this harmonising role, and the influx of Aries energy combined with the Pluto sextile empowers us to take action around these desires.

Mar 24

  • Sun ♈︎ Conjunct Mercury Rx ♈︎

Following the previous day’s conjunction, Mercury follows Venus into cazimi — the heart of the Sun. Here your sense of self and how you are visible to the world is in alignment with your thoughts and how you’re communicating them. You will embody your own ideas with greater confidence, especially so in Aries, which may incline these ideas to be impulsive and fast-moving toward a singular purpose.

You may find yourself raising your voice, or having quick-witted retorts you can’t seem to hold back. With Mercury also retrograde it’s also highly possible that, although you feel you are speaking clearly and directly, it is misinterpreted by those around you. So make extra effort to be clear and to clarify you’re hearing others as they want to be heard… even when a situation feels tense or charged.

Mar 25

  • Mercury Rx ♈︎ Sextile Pluto ♒︎

This transit touches on where that impulsive voice is coming from. Something deeper and unconscious, perhaps fear-driven, which motivates your mind to jump to defensive measures. This is a useful day to spend some time thinking on the patterns of any recent conversations that have irked you or brought up a violent response inside of you.

The deep discomfort Pluto brings can cause this transit to erupt from within like a primal scream, so if you feel the need to roar and release (preferably into a pillow), do so!

Mar 27

  • Venus Rx ♈︎ enters Pisces ♓︎

  • Venus Rx ♓︎ Conjunct Neptune ♓︎

Neptune experiences a brush with both retrograding inner planets in its last days (after 13 years) in Pisces; a final reflection on idealism, the messiness of grace, having compassion, and what perfection even means.

Because of its powerful transpersonal effects, this transit is a useful time to reflect on any relationships that have experienced challenges throughout the Venus Rx so far. What has asking for what you want brought out in people? It is worth asking: Am I comfortable/safe with the boundaries I hold between myself and the emotional energy of others?

This transit wants forgiveness and emotional repair for all relationships, but — after Venus’ recent stint in Aries — it is important to first clarify you can safely ask for what you desire before you decide what you can accept.

This transit also lends a lot of energy to being creative, allowing yourself to channel something spiritual into your art making (or your enjoyment of art). This transit helps you trust the process, and work through whatever comes up in a way that is highly generative and sensitive to the collective energy.

Mar 29

  • New Moon in Aries (Solar Eclipse)

When the Sun and Moon align in this single-minded and driven sign, your wants and needs are focused into an uncontainable impulse to do something. Act on that impulse and experience the release it brings to pursue a fully selfish desire without inhibition.

While selfishness bares all kinds of negative social connotations, this New Moon is an invitation to consider that what we might call ‘selfishness’ can also be a form of honesty; honesty about what you desire. To many this can be as terrifying as it is thrilling, and perhaps why so many shy away from sharing the fullness of what they want.

Trust yourself, trust your instincts, and trust that you do not need permission to ask for what you long for. Aries encourages you to take actions boldly and that taking heed of your passionate ‘yes’ is the most honest reflection of who you are right now. To ignore this may even feel deceitful, to yourself and to those around you.

This will be felt particularly intensely as it is the final eclipse of the last 2 years Aries/Libra series. While the nodes have already ingressed into the Virgo/Pisces axis, the 15 degree orb that makes an eclipse visible encompasses this New Moon, emphasising again the tension of that transition phase from Pisces into Aries.

Mar 30

  • Mercury Rx ♈︎ enters Pisces ♓︎

  • Mercury Rx ♓︎ Conjunct Neptune ♓︎

This transit is disorienting and makes it difficult to gain clarity on what’s real and what’s fabrication. While the conjunction to Neptune opens the mind to a vast ocean of symbolism and collective energies, Mercury Rx may have you misinterpreting all of these signals from the universe to feed anxious-depressive feedback loops.

In such close proximity to the New Moon, Venus’ pass of Neptune, and Neptune’s own ingress into Aries, all of the themes around what you desire in your relationships are still likely to be up. However your thoughts around this, and how to communicate this clearly may be muddled, messy, and likely to result in emotional overwhelm if you are pushed to express yourself in words.

Acknowledge the chaos and the confusion, for in the absence of a clear mind, this is real. There is no need to be decisive on which path to take or formulate a plan while sailing through fog.

  • Neptune ♓︎ enters Aries ♈︎

Apr 4

  • Mars ♋︎ Sextile Uranus ♉︎

The eccentricity of Uranus excites Mars. This transit prompts you to do something new, to do things a little differently, and enjoy the bodily sensations of the strange. A gentle nudge away from your established patterns and to shake things up and invite chance into your routine. Follow this urge and see what opportunities it brings.

  • Saturn ♓︎ Sextile Uranus ♉︎

Similarly to Mars, Saturn’s schedule is disrupted by Uranus’ erratic bursts. This can feel like your carefully laid plans are being derailed, or like a liberation from the mundanity of a long established order. Uranus is both accident prone and serendipitous, and how it is experienced relies on our ability to embrace what new pathways arise from the chaos.

Apr 5

  • Mars ♋︎ Trine Saturn ♓︎

Although Uranus is working to destabilise this formation, Mars and Saturn fall into a comfortable rhythm together and can be very productive and driven toward their ambitions and goals in this window.

Whatever was taking place when Mars Rx formed this aspect to Saturn (Feb 9) will now be able to be returned to with redoubled effort and a forward momentum.

Apr 6

  • Sun ♈︎ Sextile Jupiter ♊︎

This transit gives a boost to your confidence and vitality. It has a bold and uplifting energy that will push you to expand your perspective and beliefs about yourself and what is possible.

  • Venus Rx ♓︎ Trine Mars ♋︎

This transit allows for ease between the two lover’s planets. Hopefully now with a renewed understanding of our desires, we can experience this trine as comfortable flowing chemistry — be it social or sexual.

Venus is still Rx, meaning its reflections are not yet fully understood, and its proximity to Saturn (conjunct the following day) may bring some hard boundaries to the interactions under this otherwise positive transit. However, Saturnian boundaries in intimacy are no bad thing, and this may be an opportunity to experience how good ‘owning your no’ can feel in a relationship as well as all of this month’s yeses.

Apr 7

  • Venus Rx ♓︎ Conjunct Saturn ♓︎

As Venus makes its return pass of Saturn we are reminded that the boundaries we set in relationships are not to be cruel or punitive, but are for our own material or emotional security and safety. While selfless Pisces is typically all about the dissolution of boundaries and the mutual exchange of water, the limits to our empathy — to how we extend ourselves into the worlds of others — are in turn what allow us to sustain our relationships.

How does saying No allow you to love more sustainably? What is realistic for the long-term health of the connection? Saturn’s capacity to structure and limit all things, even the messy unknowing of Pisces, teaches that to be selfish (to care for the self and fill your own cup first) in a relationship is sometimes an act of compassion.

  • Mercury Rx ♓︎ turns Direct

Apr 8

  • Venus Rx ♓︎ Sextile Uranus ♉︎

This transit, although it can be experienced as a little anxiety inducing, carries a potentially liberating energy for socialising. It invites weird and unpredictable encounters into our inner sphere that, when embraced, will lead to exciting new experiences. It’s a little kinky, it’s a little strange, but if you can find a way to transmute your nerves into excitement this transit can be very enjoyable.

It would also be wise to watch what you’re spending under this transit, as it may come with some unexpected expenses, or a surprise bill.

Apr 13

  • Full Moon in Libra

The full scope of your desire may seem uncouth, make you uncomfortable that you are asking too much, or being inconsiderate of what’s possible or realistic… but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth naming. It is sometimes better to be honest with the extent of your desires, wants, and needs so that whatever compromise is reached is fairest for all.

While the New Moon may prompt you to find ways to get honest about your impulses and the desires that drive them, the Full Moon reflects how your needs are actually a part of the whole. Often the impulses embodied by Aries are a response to a primal instinct that is sensing what is going unspoken by the group.

Aries gets a reputation for being selfish, but it is also a defender of the downtrodden and is passionately concerned with justice — just like its counterpart Libra. While Libra takes time to weigh up opposing perspectives and holds back on making decisions — at the risk of causing unnecessary division — Aries acts on its instincts that something is wrong and apologises later.

Although not a sustainable or pain-free solution, violence is always the fastest way to get what you want. This Full Moon asks us how destruction of the peace is sometimes necessary to do the right thing for everyone? With Venus (ruler of Libra) turning direct on the same day as this Full Moon, we may be asked to consider the decisions we’re not making (but need to, for the sake of what is just) in fear of causing an upset or being disliked by the group.

  • Venus Rx ♓︎ turns Direct

Apr 16

  • Mercury ♓︎ Enters Aries ♈︎

Apr 17

  • Mercury ♈︎ Conjunct Neptune ♈︎

Now with Mercury direct and Neptune in Aries, this transit revisits the unclarified and confusing themes of March 30th with a faster tempo and more erratic energy. This period will not bring answers to whatever previously arose in this transit, though will likely bring another wave of unverifiable data or distracting information.

Again, while this transit opens our mind and up to collective energies, putting such vast and spiritual themes into clear communicable words is challenging, and is likely to be experienced internally as an amassing existential dread. Be gentle with yourself under this transit and allow it to pass before making any big decisions if you can.

Apr 18

  • Mars ♋︎ Enters Leo ♌︎

  • Mars ♌︎ Trine Neptune ♈︎

All the potential that has been mounting in the oceans of Neptune finds an outlet through Mars and its newfound Leonine bravery. With both planets in such self-assured fire signs, on a personal level this transit will help us overcome some of the inertia we’ve experienced as the planets have jumped back and forth between Pisces/Aries.

You may feel activated on a spiritual level to do something! Perhaps feeling more driven toward humanitarian goals, giving back to the community, attending a protest… something that integrates your seemingly unattainable ideals with your actions. It is also a transit that will inspire art that is explosive, violent, and fiery. This transit is punk af.

On a global level, however, it would not be uncharacteristic for this transit to show up as religiously motivated violence. This is a loud arrival for Neptune’s lofty spirituality and idealism into Aries, where people will begin to take matters into their own hands. The time for waiting to decide what you believe is over, the time for having and taking flight has come.
